If you took the first Mosaic class offered in January this February, class is a step up from there, in that you will be working with three (3) Mosaic patterns on one project!

Friday Dates: February 7, 14, 21, 28 Time: 4pm-6pm

You will be crocheting a lap blanket with measurements approximately 41″ x 55″.

You will need: Hook: anywhere from a 4mm to a 4.5mm One (1) bull nose/blunt nose needle (used for Swedish weave if you choose to add to a blanket) One (1) sewing needle (has a sharp end and is metal) with a very large eye (used to weave in ends). NO plastic crochet needle. Three (3) colors of worsted acrylic yarn (NO bulky/large/heavy weight yarn, and NO black or very dark colors). You will need between 2600 and 3100 yards of yarn; Note: your base/primary color you’ll need the most of yarn for in creating your blanket. (Also, using a variegated yarn in Mosaic projects adds even more dimension, pattern, interest, and depth.)

This class will use the pattern learned in the January class with two new patterns added. You will be working with the Mosaic charts in the development of your personal blanket design. This is ‘your’ creation.

Take note, this class is a heavily driven homework class, in that you will not be able to finish the blanket if you are only crocheting during class time.

There are only 6 spots available for this class, please call the library to sign up at 715-267-7103.
